Terre di Frattula
Where it wasn't the Middle Ages...
This system has remained part of the local tradition and can be seen today with our typical produce such as wine, olive oil, bread, honey and salami made from wholesome ingredients and Frattula pork, reared locally according to EU high welfare standards. In some cases, farmers still use the semi-wild method of livestock rearing, enriching the pigs’ feed with acorns.
Strict regulations are also followed to ensure a superior quality for these genuine farm-produced meats.
Corinaldo, Trecastelli and Senigallia are the three municipalities of the Terre di Frattula: a lush green land dotted with olive trees, thriving vineyards and ancient oak trees. Wonderful walks await you along the banks of the river Cesano or in the nearby parks, glades and picturesque hillsides modelled over centuries by the skilful labour of local farmers. You can also visit the many medieval towns and villages, full of history and folklore.
