Terre di Frattula
Nestling between the sea and the hills is an unspoilt rural landscape that dates back to the Middle Ages
“Terre di Frattula” is an unspoilt rural landscape set between the sea and the hills. The area bears witness to a unique agricultural tradition that dates back to medieval times, when the monks from Fonte Avellana farmed these lands according to the principles of social Christianity. The movement was ahead of its time, and was a revolutionary attempt to raise people’s standards of living.
